Leicester supremo Sven-Göran Eriksson has reaffirmed his commitment to the East Midlands club for next season, despite the failure to reach this season's playoffs, and has made Bristol City midfielder Cole Skuse his first transfer target. Skuse is a one-club man and has been at Ashton Gate since his days as an apprentice, but feels underappreciated by the Robins' faithful and is thought to be keen on a move away. Leicester know that the aging legs of Matt Oakley are unlikely to last another full season of the rigours of Championship football and see Skuse as a like-for-like replacement.
A host of players are set to play their final game at the Walkers Stadium this weekend; loanees Yakubu and Kyle Naughton will be returning to their parent clubs, while Steve Howard, Darius Vassell, Chris Weale and Paul Gallagher will all be made available for transfer once the curtain comes down on what has been a disappointing season for the Foxes.
