Speculation is intensifying that Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is targeting Watford star Danny Graham as a potential replacement for Kevin Doyle, should the Irishman leave Molineux in the summer. Graham, 21, has bagged in excess of 20 goals for the Hornets this season, and his hard-working style is thought to be pleasing to the eye of the former Republic of Ireland manager. Our source at Vicarage Road told us: "Danny is happy at the club, but with the financial situation still not being good, we'd find it hard to turn down a really big offer".
Doyle is attracting the interest of Newcastle, QPR and Aston Villa as the vultures begin to circle Molineux with relegation a real possibility. Doyle has loyalty to his current manager but is not willing to take a drop into the Championship as he did with former club Reading in 2008.
